The Science Behind Oxivance
Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is an oxidising agent with disinfectant, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial properties. It is unstable, decomposing readily to oxygen and water with release of heat. H2O2 common household formulations by itself cannot effectively inactivate SARS CoV-2 (Covid-19 virus). Stabilised H2O2 in an acidic (low pH) detergent system has optimal virucidal activity against human coronavirus.
Oxivance is formulated with H2O2, surfactant system, and pure distilled water. It is stabilised Hydrogen Peroxide – a powerful and effective cleaner disinfectant which degrades to water and oxygen after use.SARS-COV-2 is an envelope virus. This means that it has an outer layer of fatty-acid lipid proteins that it uses to reproduce. This outer envelope can be removed with soap and water, or alcohol. Oxivance inactivates the outer envelope, preventing the virus from reproducing and reduces the spread of infections.
